Welcome to 4th Grade!  I hope all of you have had a wonderful summer and are excited to get back to the routine of school!  I am so excited to meet all of you, and I hope that you are able to come to our back to school event on August 20th from 4-5:30.  Our classroom is at the very end of the 4th grade hallway, so just keep walking!  Feel free to also bring your supplies to drop off to help lighten your load on Wednesday morning.  I promise that we will work hard, but also have so much fun together this year!

To help ease any back to school jitters you may have about starting a new year and having a new teacher, let me share a few pictures of how I spent my summer vacation to help you get to know me a little bit!

Between all 3 of my boys, I watched about 60 youth baseball games!  Good thing my favorite sport is baseball!

We love to splash around in the water.  With passes to Magic Waters, we spent a lot of time there, but we also took a fun day trip to Indiana.  Let's just say I won't be trying out for America Ninja Warrior anytime soon!

We are 100% Chicago Cubs fans, but it is always fun to catch an MLB game-- even if it is the Brewers!

The Great Smoky Mountains-- worth the endless hours in the car with my crazy boys!

I went white water rafting and am proud to say I didn't fall out of the raft!

We visited the Louisville Slugger Museum in Louisville, Kentucky and learned all about how they make baseball bats.

You could describe us as an active family, so we also enjoy hiking, especially if there is a waterfall!

The best part about a trip to Great America???  Obviously the funnel cakes!
